Came across this Parasitic herb at "Prabalgad Fort" near Panvel, Maharashtra.

Bot.Name: Christisonia calcarata
Family: Orobanchaceae

i have observed this plant on the roots of Carvia callosa at
Tungareshwar.
can you mention the name of the host in this case?

Yes Satish ji, U R right. Same was the case here. I too found this under Carvia callosa at "Prabalgad Top".
