May be Yes. The pictures are too small to see the features clearly. It may be P. acerifolium, as it is from garden. It is seldom seen in wild in S.India.

This is likely to be Pterospermum suberifolium, locally known as Muchkund, Eng.- Fishing Rod tree. P.acerifolium  is called Kanakchampa.
