Dear Sir

For me its look a true Piper betle. Please check the aroma of the leaves. The spikes will be more helpful.
Thanks

I do not have the real idea of the flowering of the species as it is not comonly found in the wild and the daultivated variants hardly bear any spike.
But as per the common pattern April to June could be the possible period.

Thanks and regards

Dear Gajurel sir,

Leaf venation  looks different from P. betle and I have no idea about its elevation range.
According to the leaf venation it looks near to P. longum but I am not sure about the elevation range
since it is shot at 5500ft. I have been monitoring this plant since 2018 but never saw it flowering and
the locals said they have seen it never flowering. The plant is huge (long) hanging from cliff and near
perennial water source. Leaf size looks bigger as described in efn.

Thank you.

Thank you Dr. Padmraj Sir,

By the way Piper betle sp. is not found in Nepal in wild.
and the elevation range for this sp. is below 900m.

Sir it is Piper betle only.. In some population piper betle exhibits sterile vine also.
You can chew it sir. Its aroma will help you.
