Please ID the plant. Photographed in  Tamil Nadu this week : Thruporur Reserve forest.  Received with a tag -  J .multipartitum .  Please  confirm or suggest the correct ID.

It has spines on the stems.   Hence I got doubt.   Therefore,  I referred it to  Dr. Lalithamba ji who is an expert on the flora of peninsula.   Dr. Lalithamba ji  has identified it as a species of  Coffea travencorensis.   For the information of the group mebers.

It is not Jasminum species; it is Coffea travencorensis close to Coffea wightiana of Rubiace family; I collected   Coffea wightiana.   it has small spiny branches on which flowers arise, the calyx is cup shaped, it is not in Jasminum, Coffea wightiana looks similar to this plant . thank you

Plant seems to have been taken at lower elevation (Request Mahadeswara ji to let us know about it)
I feel it may be Coffea wightiana on detailed examination of the two as per the following:
