Hi,

Please help ID this plant. Location: Koonammavu, Kerala

The flowers were at a height of 6-7 feet. But I am not sure if it's a climber or a shrub. The stems and roots were intertwined with other plants.

Thank you and warm regards
Nancy Seby

The flowers look like that of Derris trifoliata, but the leaves have rounded ends. So, I am a little confused.

Warm regards

Thank you very much, Mr. Saroj.

I am not able to find other websites to cross-check. POWO only has one picture, and I am not sure about the leaves, https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:491389-1.

The leaves in my picture have rounded ends.

Warm regards

Mostly it is Derris trifoliata only, Because that species only common along with Mangroves,  posted leaves are belongs to Avicennia officinalis.

Oh no! Do you think I took pictures of 2 different species? I am going to Kerala again next week. Will check and take some more photos.

Thank you, Mr. Paradesi.
