Requesting to please ID this plant captured in Sagar Upvan, Mumbai in October 2013. It had beautiful designs on its leaves.

I think - it is Agave vera-cruz, because :-
  1. marginal prickles conspicuous, straight and with dark coloured tips.
  2. in americana (1) leaves are constricted aove the base ( neck region) (2) prickles are strong
  3. in cantula prickles are falcate

Sorry, it is Agave americana, the 3rd picture shows sinuate margin, typical of americana; which I missed.
