Now that all Indian material of Trichosanthes tricuspidata (which is not represented in India according to article by  Savita Pandey, T.S. Rana and K.N. Nair.  Revision of the Trichosanthes tricuspidata – bracteata complex (Cucurbitaceae) in India,  Rheedea Vol. 26(2) 83–93 2016) I am sharing images showing ovary/young fruit with characteristic stripes, not found in other species.
