Thanks a lot Suhas ji,
This is going to be a great task but must be completed. Could you also suggest with regards to the status of the current permitted traffic of people and per day permissions at Kaas.

This is an appeal to all:
Last couple of years, few of us from Pune and Satara are working together and with forest department for conservation of particularly Kaas plateau. Few things suggested by us are being implimented by Forest department, few are not being implimented. Few things they are implimenting are not really agreeable to us.
But, one thing, we learnt from many meetings with forest department officials: We need to have consolidated scientic document giving all scientific information about the place we want to conserve / protect.
Now, we have decided to make one, not only for Kaas, but all locations, mainly plateaus, which we want to protect and conserve.
We need your help in this big task.
May i request you to send whatever scientific study/ documentation you have done on various locations?
All credit will be given for whatever you send, in the document we submit to various government bodies.
The data should be inclusive of
1. Observation (Flora or fauna) in the form of photograph
2. Location observed (name of the location , Log/ Lat if available)
3. Date of observation.
4. Name of the observer
5. Name of the publication if it is already published in any of scientific journal.
6. If same veriety is still observable at the same location, if the observation is quite old.
Any other information, if you think worth.
We wish to make this document by this year end and submit to all related government bodies.
