Hello again,
Let's continue with the ferns of my last indian trip this spring.
This time, I think I have a genus (well, not even sure of it).
Let's go with the pictures, taken from the side of the road near the village of Sessa, at an elevation of around 1200m :

Thank you for your help.

Yes, Hymanophyllum.  That's Hymenophyllum tenellum, a close Asian relative of the American H. polyanthos.  I know the Arunachal ferns well as my book on them is nearly complete now!

Best wishes,
Chris.

Thank you very much. It seems that Hymenophyllum tenellum is also present in the french island of La Réunion in southern Indian Ocean.

Is H. tenellum the only species of the genus in Arunashal ? I have another observation near Dirang.

I will post many pteridophytes from Arunashal as I have a few dozen unidentified ferns from this part of India. Tell me if it is too much for this group or if I should continue.

Best regards,
Benoît
