Dear Sir
This photo has been running for several years
but has not been identified yet.
This is not any species of Syzygium. 
It is a branch of Terminalia chebula. All are confused with the fruit-like structure. That is not a fruit. They are insect galls formed from the flower buds. 
Please correct it on the net.

Really there are wonders in nature.
This phenomenon I confirmed when I got both real green fruit of T. chebula and red coloured fruit like structures on same tree in a forest of Jharkhand.
