Another Zizuphus, smaller bushy shrub. In Bengali- Siakool, derived
from Sial kool, Jackle jujube. Fruits are edible but not very popular,
Name suggests popular to Jackals, but liked by village children, local
tribals.

Is it Z.oenoplia ?

Hi, Sibdas ji,
It appears like what you stated i.e. Ziziphus oenoplia. See the links:http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Ziziphus_oenoplia_Blanco2.433.jpg (Drawing), http://www.flickr.com/photos/shaista/2799702778/ (a picture),
