Albizia procera
Family Mimosaceae
I had been observing these very large Albizia procera trees in Mrutunjay temple area of Kothrud. Pune
First time got a chance to observe the flowers from close. Luckily some branches drooping down had few inflorescences. Generally it is difficult to get a glimpse as the tree is7-8 floors tall. The flowering season is Jun July as against its brother Albizia lebek which is more common in the area which flowers in April.
