Excellent series of Convolvulaceae, Dinesh ji. Exceptional shots, as usual.

Please review the Tamil name for this plant. The name uppucanaka/uppusanaka may be a Telugu name.
Tamil name for Cressa cretica is உப்பு மரிக்கொழுந்து 'Uppu marikkozhundhu'

Balkar ji, you have only to go to the right place: dry sandy saline habitat around ponds, lakes or rivers.

Many thanks all, Balkar ji, Gurcharan ji, Tanay for the appreciation.

Vijayasankar ji, many many thanks for validating the name, too.
(But ENVIS - FRLHT does have the name uppucanaka listed in Tamil, perhaps used by people sharing AP - TN border).
Have revised my notes at flickr.

Regards.
Dinesh
