The said plant is very difficult to see, or it doesn't comes in to the first sight, from my observations.

Dear Dr Garg and Sam, Both are most welcome. I too collected when I was a research scholar during 1982-85 periods from Nedumkandan, Myladumpara, Pampadumpara, Poopara etc along canals and wet rocks near cardamom plantations. It's very beautiful when it blooms and is eye-catching. Thanks for recollecting my vivid memories of this plant. It is endemic and rare to southern India and Sri Lanka.
