Nice pictures Swagat
Kydia calycina is an interesting plant from malvaceae family. It is a small tree.
The fresh flowers are mostly white in colour. As the flowers mature the persistent calyx and epicalyx becomes prominent and green and it appears like a green flower. The leaves are typically lobed as in your picture.
During my first sighting of these flowers in Mulshi area in Jan I also was confused on looking at these.I think the common Marathi name is Warang. You only can validate it with your vast knowledge of Marathi names.
I have seen another lone tree in Mari aai ghat near KhedShivapur Pune.

Yes, these are withered flowers of Kydia calycina. Many Malvaceae
flowers turn pink on anthesis possibly to attract birds for dispersal
of seeds. Regards

Thanks a lot Dinesh ji, Satish ji & Shrikant ji for the identification and the useful information.

Yes, 'Kydia calycina' is called 'Warang' 'वारंग' in Marathi.
