This herb was observed at Sangareddy district. Area has scrub vegetation.

Date-27th August 2021

Location- Sangareddy, Telangana

Altitude-530 MSL

Habitat- Wild

Plant Habit- Herb

Height-8 -10 cm

Please help in identification

Striga gesnerioides indeed.
I read  It is an obligate parasite. There were no trees but only grasses around that herb. What could be host plant?

It is often parasitic on Lepidagathis spp., mostly L. cuspidata.

Yes, I too agree with Radha Maam for ID, and collected from Lepidagathis cristata,
