Thank you Vipalav and Ushadi for answering my query.
Looking at the dark colour of the flower I got confused. Also I was looking for the flower with whitish edge. The light blue colour of Duranta erecta does not show whitish edge distinctly. I have summarized my observations below. May be you can contribute to it more.

Acanthaceae

Verbenaceae

Asystasia intrusa

Asystasia intrusa - earlier misidentified and now confirmed to be Asystasia gangetica, sub species micrantha.

Duranta erecta

Light blue flower

Dark purple flower

Two lower petals with darker hue line in centre.

Two lower petals with darker hue line in centre

Leaf margin toothed

Toothed leaf margin

Raceme not drooping.

??

Flower on drooping raceme

Petals with whitish edge

Whitish edge not distinct as petal colour is light

Petals with whitish edge

Petals are pointed

Petals are not pointed

Petals are not pointed

I do not have photo.
