Yellow silk cotton tree flowering !

Hi everyone,

Cochlospermum religiosum (Yellow Silk Cotton tree) is flowering  !!

 

One seen at Godrej Mangrove Park, Vikhroli, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on 20th Dec. 2008

OneYellow silk cotton tree stands in a compound of a building near Lalubhai Park, Andheri (W), Mumbai. It was good to discover the tree here & I could notice it only due to the yellow flowers covering the tree on 17th Jan 2009 :)
