MS/2023) 123 - Id of the plant Eugenia species ???

Dear members,

I am forwarding herewith photos received from a friend in from Chennai. The plant was photographed in a coastal village Odiyur near Cheyyur in Tamil Nadu . It is a is Eugenia species , a small shrub. The fruit tastes good. My suggested Id is Eugenia sps. Please suggest the correct ID .
