It looks like R. billardieri from the position of the sporogonia, but photographs of the spores are required for a correct identification.

Both the images belong to same species of the genus Riccia, most likely R. glauca! For cofirmation at species level, however, the collector should share the specimens/images with Dr S.K. Singh, Scientist F, Botanical Survey of India, Northern Regional Center, Dehradun <sksb...@rediffmail.com, sks...@bsi.gov.in> who has recently carried out taxonomic revision of Indian Riccia.
