Many many thanks Saroj ji, for suggesting the possibility.
I think it must be Euonymus crenulatus Wall. ex Wight & Arn.
The leaf margin is slightly crenulated towards the tip, the leaf is also obtuse or emarginate.

I think the fruiting shape that is made out in herbarium will depend upon the dehiscing stage.
Otherwise all other aspects are in place.
