I have collected this tree from maredumilli forest of East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.
But I don't know the telugu name, local konda reddy tribes are investigated for its ethno botanical properties it is medicinally useful in curing skin diseases and used as purgative, wood is light weight and used for making cardboard boxes and fuel

The very interesting thing is that fruits when ripen are taken by jungle cats
