Sir,

Found this small herb in a lowland which remains underwater from July to December.

Species : UNKNOWN
H & H : about 15 cm high or less, diffused; flowers are about the size of R. parviflora or a bit smaller.
Date : 30/1/13
Place : Hooghly

Thank you Sir. But it is Hygrophila polysperma (Roxb.) T.Anderson, as had been identified later on

It's a very common aquatic herb here, with a varying morphology depending upon the water level of the tank.
