               I'm attaching herewith one photo of plant for your identification. If you can identify this photo of plant, I shall be very grateful to you. Date : 25-06-2012. Place : Tawi, Mizoram. Altitude : ca. 1,500 m. Habit : Herb. Habita : Virgin Forest.

Dear Sawm Liana Ji, it is not Alpinia, which is coming under the genus Cautleya, fruits and flowers seems to be C. cathcarti.
Pls check

As per WCSP (KEW), Cautleya cathcartii Baker is a syn. of  

But Flora of China & Tropicos, accepts Cautleya cathcartii Baker as an accepted name 
 
This may pl. be clarified as to which we should consider as an accepted name.

I think it should be C. gracilis var. robusta as per keys at Taxonomic revision of the genus Cautleya (Zingiberaceae) in India with a description of a new variety (pdf)- Kizhakkethil AISHWARYA , Mamiyil SABU- Taiwania 66(1): 79‒88, 2021
