Dear all
pls help in Id of this small spreading Trifolium herb. Shot today from a bank of small water channel

My guess is Trifolium campestre

Medicago lupulina Balkar ji. Trifolium would have palmate compound leaves, all three leaflets of same stalk length. Here middle has much longer stalk, hence pinnate trifoliate.

Appears more closer to images at Medicago lupulina rather than those at  Trifolium campestre Schreb.
