Dear members,
Kindly help to identify this Fabaceae shrub found in the Thorn forests of Satyamangalam at low altitude.

Could it be Ormocarpum sp. ?

You are absolutely correct, Muthu. It is Ormocarpum sennoides, used for bone-setting. (if you cut the leaflet in to 2 pieces by hand and try to join again, they will !). I saw only seedlings when i surveyed Satyamangalam forests. You got nice picture of fruits, thanks for sharing.

Thank you sir,
This character of leaf joining is also observed well in Zornia diphylla.
