This looks like Strobilanthes auriculata var. dyeriana (Mast.) J.R.I. Wood. It has been treated as a distinct species Strobilanthes dyeriana Mast. but only differs in the leaf markings. It is widely cultivated and was described in the Gardener's Chronicle from cultivated material. Wild populations of the variety are found in Myanmar and Thailand.
