Gmelina arborea-white teak

I saw this flowering white teak at Rani Baug, Mumbai on 18 August '09.

Dear Rashida JI,
Is there a species like white teak? I am not aware of it. Having said
that I am a novice. The teak that I know has white coloured flowers
and the leaves are different. It is not pointed like the ones in your
pictures.

Yes Yazdi ji there is a white teak also called Kashmir teak and Sewan. kindly refer to pg no 124 of Trees of Delhi. There is regional variation here too, Delhi book says flowering lasts till April but I saw flowering along with the leaves in August.
