Please ID wild aquatic plant, kind regards, Sam Kuzhalanattu.

Location: Chavara Kollam Kerala INDIA

Altitude: 0fsl

Flower date: 30DEC2024, 04.15pm

Habitat: wild aquatic backwater

Plant habit: small floating stemless herb in clusters, annual

Height: 10cm

Leaves: opposite ovoid acute leathery smooth soft glossy fleshy, latter with swollen petiol base, size upto: 12×08cm

Flower: terminal spike inflorescence, clustered, violet, fragrant, diameter:06cm

Fruit: capsule green into brown ovoid
