Garden herb for ID 270411MK3

Dear all,
Please help to id this herb potted at garden in Kotagiri, Nilgiris. Could this be any Portulacaceae?

Date/Time- 

09-04-2011 / 04:00 PM

Location- Place, Altitude, GP

ca.2000asl; Kotagiri, TN

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- 

planted in garden

Plant Habit-

 succulent herb

Height/Length- 

10 -15 cm long

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- 

ca.3 x 0.2 cm

Inflorescence Type/ Size- 

terminal; c. 3 cm across 

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- 

0.5-1 cm across

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- 

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

This should be Crassulaceae, may be some Rhodiola!

Is S. mexicanum a synonym for S.sexangulare or a different species?
