Found this wild herb from Pea family in Manipur, in October, at altitudes of about 800-1000 m. Beautiful small pink flowers, and leaves with prominently winged stalks.
Any clues to its identity will be helpful.

Dear Smita,
I think you are right! It is Tadehagi triquetrum (Syn: Desmodium triquetrum) indeed!
   Best wishes

There is one Tadehagi alatum also, as per POWO
Keys would help.

Thanks Garg ji, for pointing out the other related species. Yes, one should compare with them too.

I think we should take it as Tadehagi pseudotriquetrum, as per keys in Flora of China and keys and details in A New Circumscription of Tadehagi and a New Genus Akschindlium (Leguminosae) (2003) (pdf). This publication says the distribution pattem differs between subsp. triquetrum and subsp. pseudotriquetrum; the former is not found in the Himalayas and is rare in Malesia. This gives keys as below:
Key to the subspecies of Tadehagi triquetrum:
1. Loments (pods) glabrous on lateral surfaces; leaflet-blade less than 3 times longer than broad, usually ovate or narrowly ovate. ...… subsp. pseudotriquetrum
1. Loments (pods) densely to sparsely pubescent on lateral surfaces; leaflet-blade usually more than 3 times longer than broad, linear to narrowly oblong-ovate or narrowly ovate
... subsp. triquetrum

I think I will go with Tadehagi pseudotriquetrum, more because of the size of my plant. It was not an erect hrub 1-2 m tall. It was only about a foot or so tall, with stem not erect.
