This plant and fruit pictures I took, in Nature camp to a small
village of Warli tribe in Wada region, Maharashtra
The fruit in the second picture was lying below the plant.

       This is Dioscorea species. belonging to family Dioscoreaceae.

Dioscorea for sure, may be bulbifera.

Dioscoria bulbifera or Air Yam. The fruit are not true fruits rather
Aerial tubers. It can be planted to grow new crops.

I think the first picture is Dioscorea bulbifera with aerial tubers.
The second one may be the rotten tuber that looks like a real fruit.
