Up to 8 metre

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- 

4 x 15 cm

Inflorescence Type/ Size- 


Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- 


Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- 

5cm across; fleshy berry

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- 

fruits smells sweet

I think Vijaya you are right there is possibility of being Soymida febrifuga as the due to wilting the leaf morphology have chandes, the fruit looks quite similar to Soymida febrifuga !!

Descriptions by K.M.Matthew in Excursion Flora of TN affirms this to be Soymida febrifuga (Roxb.) A. Juss. of Meliaceae.
