TATR Chandrapur, February 2025 :: Tree for ID :: ARK2025-070

Hello friends

These were found around the Tadoba lake in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), Chandrapur in February 2025.

Seems to be Syzygium cumini, but the guide said the fruits were much smaller.

Are they some different species?

Yes, it should be

It is quite a variable species. Sometimes, fruits are also very small.
