Chrysopogon zizanioides (L.) Roberty (= Vetiveria zizanioides (L.) Nash), Cultivated grass from Coonor area of Nilgiri Tamilnadu at an altitude of 1500m, root is aromatic and cooling, added in hair oils, perfumes, drinking water etc.
