Okay, thanks very very much, Prabhat ji, for help with the Odia names for this plant.

Strangely, all the languages listed below, though having similar names, their meanings are different.
Bengali (ছাগল বাটি chagala bati)
Assamese (চাগল লতি chagal lati)
Odia (ଚଂଗୁଲ ବତୀ changul bati)

I will add the Odia names: ଚଂଗୁଲ ବତୀ changul bati and ଗଣମାରି ganamari in my notes shortly.

According to the odia language Bati means wick cotton thread and changul means destractive some where.

Jay Jaganatha, Prabhat ji !!
Thank you very much.

I tried Google searching the words ଚଂଗୁଲ ବତୀ ... there are simply no results, especially ଚଂଗୁଲ
Perhaps ଚଂଗୁଲ ବତୀ could be ଛଗଳ ବତୀ chhagala bati

ছাগল বাটি chagala bati, is the name in Bengali, for this plant,
ছাগল chagala = a he-goat (with curling horns); বাতি bati = horns ... refers to achenes / follicles, alluding to curled horns of a he-goat

I tried Google searching the word: ଗଣମାରି ... there are simply no results.
I think ଗଣମାରି is spelled in English as ganamari ... does it have any meaning ?
