Date: May 15, 2023
Elevation:  646 m 
Habitat : slightly disturbed forest

It seems to be a Strychnos species. Preferably woody climbers.

Tendrils are not there and
Strychnos wallichiana are not like the position of leaves.

Can you try new images of the whole habitat of  plants. Try to new images of the flowers and fruits or seeds.

The reason for the confusion is the juvenile stage of the plant. Often the newly growing twig differs from the flowering and fruiting twig. Branch here is actively growing. Thorns are a characteristic feature of Strychnos, so also venation.
