Alternanthera pulchella and A. pungens seem to be closely related species. I don't have literature on A. pulchella. Can any colleague send differences between two (if they are distinct species) for us to fix identification?.

"I didn't find any records of Alternanthera pulchella in GRIN & KEW Checklist of 2009. Two records from APNI are as below:
