Hi, Lalithamba ji,
Your Blumea hieracifolia images in Flickr as below, seems to be of Blumea oxyodonta and not of Blumea hieracifolia (as per images, details and references at these links):
Pl. correct.

Thanks, Lalithamba ji.
Sorry, I goofed up.
I think these are close Blumea axillaris (Lam.) DC. as per images, details and references herein.

Garg Ji how do you say it is Blumea oxydonta; B.oxydonta has spiny leaf margin, it doesn't have any such, because I physically verified; its achenes are ribbed when observed under lense, all the anthers are fertile; (oxydonta  has some anthers) hence by looking at the appearance of some plants it is difficult to judge correctly;
thank you

No sorry among us , identification of some plants are very intriguing,some are highly variable, then we must go for the decisive characters; some needs lens help without that we may go wrong. even there are differences between floras; your efforts are highly appreciable; but identifying without observing actual specimens some times is a challenge, that's why many taxonomists ask for specimens. Hence so many revisions, so many synonyms etc., I learnt a lot after joining the group. you are a guide like person. never use the word sorry, I have also gone wrong several times. thank you for the care and attention
