Hi,
 
Location : Karnagar,
                 Dist. Midnapore, West Bengal.
 
Date : 21/12/2007.
 
It is Tulsi to the local people and to me it is not very common type of Tulsi.
 
I think it is a species of Ocimum.
 
Would you please identify this plant.

Lovely sooooo much nice observation----It is Ocimum basilicum (Lamiaceae).
