    Attached images are grass sp. Please ID the plant  

Date :27.10.2014

Location: Meghalaya

Family : Poaceae

Genus & species : ??

Habitat: Grows wild on road side

Habit : Herb

May be some Eriochloa species. Racemes and spikelets look like E. villosa (Thunb.) Kunth, which may not be found in India!

Some earlier relevant feedback:

May be some Eriochloa species. Racemes and spikelets look like E. villosa (Thunb.) Kunth, which may not be found in India!
