Last year I had sent a foto which was identified as Iris-germanica or beared german iris. The one from last year is not flowering yet, but another one has two flowers and tow buds.
Is this also Iris-germanica?
Fotos taken last week (KW 19 - 2011)

Yes Nalini ji
One of the commonest Irises in Kashmir. Many species of Iris are grown in graveyards in Kashmir, and locally known as MAZAAR MOND (MAZAAR: Graveyard, MOND: root or swollen underground part, mostly rhizome in this case; Mond is also the Kashmiri name of Knol khol or Kohlrabi).
