Beautiful orchid, one another from Uttarakhand. Seen but yet to be photographed. It must be a subtropical one.

This was found in the Shivaliks in Rajaji National Park. I was given
special permission to go in, collect and identify.
I assume its a very rare plan found in specific habitat along the
grassy sand beds of streams coming out of Shivaliks or above.
Try next year. I will tell you the exact time to look out for this.

I imagine why??? The underground corms does look like the base of the feet sometimes and I saw the plant in elephant’s habitat!!
