Dear All,

This is the first identified upload from Chakrata region which was shot during our recent survey of the area. The identification credit goes to Shrikantji. This was a shrub, which we earlier reported from Morni Hills, Haryana. Identification, however, could not be reached until today's mail of Shrikant Ji.

Roylea cinerea (D. Don) Baill.

A shrub with hairy, petiolate leaves, leaf blade ovate, deeply crenate; inflorescence upto 6-flowered thyrsoid cyme; calyx tubular, 5-lobed, lobes equal or subequal, oblong-elliptic, narrowed at base; corolla strongly 2-lipped, pink to white.
