Cucurbitaceae week: Trichosanthes anguina from Hooghly

Sir,

We grew this snake gourd, CHICHINGA in Bengali, in our front yard in 2010.

With some support by a few twain thread it climbed up to the roof of our single storied building and gave me these shots.

Species : Trichosanthes anguina L. (syn. Trichosanthes cucumerina L.)

Date : 23.10.2010, 10.20 a.m.

Place : Nalikul (Hooghly), WB
