growing commonly around paddy fields
flowers were about 8 mm

There is no accepted species as Physalis minima at present
Above plant is P. angulata

Appears close to images at Physalis joe-diasii as per details and images herein.
As per Catalogue of life, it is stated to be a syn. of Alkekengi indica (Lam.) comb. ined. with distribution as ?Pakistan, Afghanistan (Kunar / Nuristan, Nangarhar, Qunduz), Nepal, N-India, Bhutan, Darjeeling, Sikkim
