Hello all

Please help to identify this wildflower. It is commonly found growing by the roadside in the university campus. Taken in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Also, are the three-lobed leaves characteristic of any particular family?

I think more closer to with Pavonia odorata Willd. as per images herein and as per Malvaceae of Southern Peninsular India: A Taxonomic Monograph By V. V. Sivarajan, A. K. Pradeep (1996))
