Clerodendrum serratum-Blue Fountain Bush

This shrub with  beautiful dark and pale blue flowers was seen on the hills towards Kaas plateaus, Satara, Maharashtra last week. This  name too is a mix of Greek: Kleros (chance) and dendron (a tree) referring to its medicinal properties.
