Hello,

I have a Bauhunia variegata which has a large monstera plant on it.
Does the monstera affect the health of the bahunia? I ask since the
leaves of the tree are not as green and attractive than the other
bahunias in the area.

thanks.

Some cucurbit creepers cllimbed  My Bauhinia tree and they really hurt it.

so probably it depnds upon the age of the host plant. One often sees bougainvillea climbing on large trees nerby with hardly any effect on the host tree.
Stranglrs are of course different.
