Thought of sharing the pics of this amazing wonder of nature - the tiny sapling showing us differrent steps of how the leaf stalk is modified into phyllodes of the tree, seen at Anashi WLS, Karnataka, last week of April, '10.

Yes Rashida ji only in sapling this plant shows true leaves otherwise the adult plant bears phyllodes only. Thanks for nice catch.
